Responsibilities of the International Relations and Project Unit
1. | Support the sustainable Myanmar's fisheries sector development by creating project proposals and plans, coordinating with international and regional organizations, development partners, NGOs, INGOs interested in implementing collaborative projects in partnership with the Department of Fisheries. |
2. | Encourage and facilitate the development of human resources and improvement of capacity building for government personnel from the Department of Fisheries by dispatching candidates to attend long- and short-term training programs, scholarship programs, and participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars hosted by foreign nations. |
3.
| Communicate with the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Member States (AMSs) to develop prioritized cooperation activities for the fisheries sector within the ASEAN Economic Community.
